Plantation Garden

The Plantation Garden is a hidden gem, that is nestled close to the Catholic cathedral in Norwich, my hometown.

The Victorian garden was created over many years and boasts a Gothic fountain, Italian “balustrade” a Palm garden and a winter garden.

When I visited in mid summer the flower beds were awash with native flowers, bees and butterflies as well as more exotic species. Families were picnicking with colourful blankets and the gentle chatter of inquisitive children.

The secret of this beautiful place is not only that it is almost hidden, but also the peace and tranquility it can bring even in the heart of vibrant Norwich on a mid summer day.- it’s a must to visit.
